Open plan work areas are fantastic for allowing workers to collaborate and communicate more freely, however they can often suffer from excessive noise distraction.

Tech Materials were aware of this being an issue for their client, a veterinary specialists. Acoustic treatment was needed for their large-scale, open-plan offices based in Shrewsbury, and so the team at Mr Acoustic were brought in to help solve the problem.

To help eliminate echo and reverberation issues within the space, the Mr Acoustic Team supplied and installed over 50 acoustic ceiling baffles, all of which were 2.7m long x300mm deep x 25mm thick with a SAA channel.

The vertically-hung panels are a fantastic solution for such a large area not only due to their sound-absorbent core, but also because excess sound is trapped within the gaps between panels.
