Open plan work environments and exposed ceilings are a combination destined to deliver poor acoustics due to the large number of hard, reflective surfaces, lack of absorbant materials and of course high user numbers within the space.

On behalf of TSYS, the team at Mr Acoustic were approached by acoustic specialists Tech Materials to install acoustic treatment in the form of over 100 ceiling rafts.

To combat the noise issues presented by the environments exposed ceilings, 80 vertically-hung acoustic baffles were installed to provide Class A acoustic performance.

To address further individual problem areas within the space, such as small collaboration areas, 50mm acoustic wall panels were also installed.

All of the walls panels and rafts were wrapped in various grey fabrics to complement the rest of the interior.
